Read-Along Trading Cards

Read-Along Trading Cards are a reading incentive designed to encourage children to engage with additional stories. Each trading card features a children’s book cover and a brief description, along with a QR code that provides instant access to the corresponding read-along book.

With a simple QR code scan using a phone or tablet, readers can immediately access the book and enjoy an enhanced read-along experience that combines audio and immersive storytelling. No authentication or setup required.

Read-Along Trading Cards work especially well as reading incentives and are highly effective for summer reading programs, while also fitting naturally into other library initiatives such as reading challenges, signing up for a library card, outreach efforts, and early literacy programs. Libraries may distribute these Read-Along Trading Cards as part of broader engagement strategy.
